Associate your USB key and take your multimedia experience with you, always! Play it while you’re driving, exercising, or sharing with friends.


STEP 1: associate your USB key.

Click on "Software" in the upper-right corner of any DriveCast page and download "DriveCastUSB". Depending on your OS you will download the version you need (Mac/Windows/Linux).


Installation for Windows

Download the software and double-click on "Setup file" in order to start the DriveCastUSB installation, then follow the instructions. Your device will be automatically associated.

STEP 2: after the installation on your device (USB Key) you will have:

  • "DriveCastUSB" icon application, which allows you to sync your online library with the device. Just click on this icon and all your content will be copied onto it.
  • "My Media" folder, which contains the "Library" folder, where you find all the media you have decided to take with you by synchronizing the device with your online library.

Remember: if any older content is been removed from your online library, it will also be removed from your device during the synchronization with your library. If you want to keep content longer, just move the elements to another folder.

  • "USBrecorded": when you set a radio recording, you can choose to save it on your online library or directly on your device. If you save the recording on your device, the elements will stay in this folder until you remove them.

Remember: if you want to save directly on your device, you need to plug in the USB key into the computer and click on “DriveCastUSB” to launch the program.

STEP 3: every time you want your favorite multimedia content on your device you have to:

  • connect the device with the computer
  • open DriveCastUSB icon application and your device will automatically sync with your online library

In the left part of the DriveCast page, you’ll find the full list of the devices you have associated. By clicking on them you can choose to automatically synchronize all the elements you have on your online library with your device or you can drag into them just your favorite playlists.

Installation for Mac

Download "DriveCastUSB.dmg", open it and drag the icon on your device in order to sync it with your online library, and take your favourite multimedia content with you.

STEP 2: after the installation on your device (USB Key) you will have:

  • "DriveCastUSB" icon application, that allows you to sync your online library with the device; just click on this icon and all your content will be copied onto it
  • "My Media" folder, which contains the “Library" folder, where you find all the media you have decided to take with you by synchronizing the device with your online library

Download the software and double-click on "DriveCastUSB.tgz". You will see a box where you have to click on "Extract", which opens another box. Select your portable device and click on "Extract". Now you will have DrivecastUSB on your device. Open the content of your device and double-click on "start.DriveCast.pl" then click on "Run".

  • the "DriveCastUSB" icon application, which allows you to sync your online library with the device; just click on this icon and all your content will be copied onto it
  • "My Media" folder, which contains the “Library” folder, where you find all the media you have decided to take with you by synchronizing your device with your online library.
