How to connect your iPod

DriveCast allows to synchronize any iPod without using iTunes, so you can take always with you your favorite mp3 contents. At the moment this service doesn’t support file video.


DriveCastUSB doesn’t support iPhone and iPod touch , you can download the application for them directly from the Apple store: http://www.emanuelefornaro.it/iphone/drivecast/index.it.html


STEP 1: Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes. Open your device from iTunes and on the bottom of "summary" page you need to check the option "Enable disk use", then close iTunes.


STEP 2: Go to DriveCast’s website and download the software DrivecastUSB. Further information are available at: http://wiki.drivecast.eu/index.php/How_to_use_portable_device


STEP 3: IMPORTANT! Every time you synchronize iPods with DriveCast remember to close iTunes before starting the synchronization , otherwise wont be done properly the synch.


STEP 4: After the synchronization with the iPod, disconnect it by following your O.S. eject process.
